WHAT WE BELIEVE

GOD THE FATHER

Creator of Heaven and Earth, who made man in His own image and likeness. Matthew 6:6, Genesis 1:1

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of the living God. He came to the world purposely to save sinners according to the scriptures. He has existed throughout eternity, one of the persons of the Holy Trinity. He is the Son, the only begotten Son of God and the beloved of God. John 1:1-14, Hebrews 4:14-15

THE HOLY TRINITY

The three persons of the Godhead; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit Three in One. Matthew 3:16-17, 1 John 5:7

THE VIRGIN BIRTH

Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Matthew 1:21

THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST

Jesus was crucified and died for the sins of mankind on the cross at Calvary, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day. He ascended into Heaven and is forever seated at the right hand of God the Father.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

Our Comforter, our Teacher, our Remembrance, our Guide, our Revelator, the Administrator of God’s wealth who dwells in us, uniting us to Jesus Christ and glorifies Him. John 14:26, John 16:13

THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

This is freely available to all who believe in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and is manifested by the gift of speaking in unknown tongues. Acts 2:38-39, Mark 16:17

SALVATION

A gift from God through grace and faith in Jesus Christ; that all who believes in Him may be saved by turning from sin to repentance, trusting in His death and resurrection and are born again by the Holy Spirit. Romans 10:8-13, Acts 3:19

THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST

It was shed for us on the cross at Calvary, cleanses us from all sin and grants us access into the presence of God. Revelation 12:11, Colossians 2:14 -15

THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST

Jesus will come again to Earth in glory and the dead in Christ will rise and those who are alive in Christ will be translated into the presence of God for eternity. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:23, 51-58

THE HOLY BIBLE

We believe that the Bible is “God’s Word”. The truths revealed in it did not have their origin with men, but with God. The Holy Spirit inspired the human authors of the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:130

SANTIFICATION

The word sanctification in the Greek language is “hagiasmos” meaning (1) to be apart from sin (2) consecrated unto God, to be conformed to His holiness, purity, and perfection of character. Matthew 5:48, 1 Peter 1:15

DIVINE HEALING

Sickness is a direct consequence of the fall of man and his continuance in sin. Redemption not only dealt with sin but also its consequences, which includes sickness and diseases. Christ died on the cross; bore not only our sins, but also our sicknesses. Mark 16:17-18, 1 Peter 2:24, 3 John 1:2
